My name is Marina Zavi and I
was born 12th October 1966. After attending
the State Scientific Liceum “A. Righi”, in Rome, and obtaining 56/60 marks, I went on to the School for Interpreters
and Translators in Rome and took the Certificate of Interpreter and Translator
in English and French. I ended this school in a four-year time and was selected
among the first 100 best students during that year.
I was immediately called by a
newly-born American company but I aimed at taking a degree, therefore I did not
accept the charge. I attended University, the faculty of Foreign Languages and
Literature in Milan (I.U.L.M.), in 1989.
At the same time a selection
for IT specialists was called by an important national insurance company and I
won it, entering as an IT developer. Anyway, I have often been charged with
translating or interpreting activities because the company was aware of my
professional skills and knowledge. For a certain period of time, I have been
employed in a different department having relationships with foreign countries
like Korea.
I have never stopped working
with foreign languages and customers and in the year 2000 I qualified as an
English teacher, therefore, I can teach in High School.
I have worked for private
customers from home for many ears and I have made many translations and
different jobs for them.
Now I have already a web site and make
on-line translations and other language services. (see my curriculum
for further details).
